EAST LANSING, Mich. — The 24th Annual Summer Solstice Jazz Festival (SSJF) will be June 19-20, 2020 in downtown East Lansing. For more than two decades, the SSJF has offered a free, multi-stage music event for residents and visitors of Greater Lansing alike. The SSJF is a celebration of jazz music—one of the truly original American art forms—and will include a remarkable lineup of both national and local jazz performers. In addition to live, outdoor music, the event will include activities for children and eat-on-site food.
The Summer Solstice Jazz Festival is presented by the City of East Lansing and Michigan State University College of Music, with artistic direction by Rodney Whitaker. Additional information about the 24th annual SSJF will be shared throughout 2020.
