The 12th Annual Summer Solstice Jazz Festival will hit the streets of downtown East Lansing with two extraordinary evenings of live jazz from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. on June 20 and 21, 2008. The festival is co-produced by the City of East Lansing, Wharton Center for Performing Arts and the MSU College of Music.

This free event, staged under a large tent centrally located in the heart of downtown East Lansing, simultaneously salutes jazz music while celebrating the summer solstice. The festivities will take place throughout the weekend in Parking Lot 1 on the corner of Abbot Road and Albert Avenue. Limited seating is available under the tent but lawn chairs are welcome.
